Frequently asked questions
Connect is the REST API and webhook layer of Crowdtech Insights. It lets you exchange data automatically between Crowdtech and your own systems, in both directions: send respondents from your CRM into a survey, and send research data back out to your data warehouse or data lake.
Salesforce, HubSpot, Adobe, Mailchimp and Slack have standard connections. Beyond those, Connect works with nearly any system that can send and receive HTTPS requests: CRM systems, data lakes, dashboards, authentication systems and external databases.
There are more than 30 API calls. For example: adding respondents to a survey, sending results to your own system, retrieving lists of unsubscribes or bounced emails, and updating data within a running survey. The standard connections work without custom code. For your own integration you generate an API key and set up the calls you need from the documentation; a system administrator can usually do this.
All data is hosted and processed entirely within the EU, on servers in Amsterdam. Certifications and subprocessors are listed in the Trust Center.
