On 6 and 7 May 2026, The Quirk’s Event London brought client-side researchers and their partners together at the InterContinental O2 for two days of 30-minute sessions.
Two themes kept coming back. The first: AI in research works best as the researcher’s assistant. Statista, Strella and Forsta all made that case, and Forsta summed it up as “Agencies will be enhanced by AI, not replaced by AI.”
The second was data quality. Strella cited a 2025 study in PNAS in which an AI bot passed 99.8% of survey quality checks across 6,000 trials. None of the detection methods in common use caught it.
Several speakers shared their slides on the Quirk’s website.
Crowdtech had a stand in the expo hall, showing how an Insight Community gives you a group of your own respondents to come back to.
